Google+ is now well-known for its many business-friendly benefits. From local listings, virtual business meetings, and more, companies, brands, and businesses all over the world are attracted to the site for its helpful advantages to businesses owners and customers.

Getting your own account started on Google+ is relatively simple, and best of all, it’s a free service with no hidden charges.

Step 1 – Create an Account
Before you can create an account on Google+, you’ll need a valid Gmail account. If you already have a Gmail account and you want to associate it with your Google+ account, simply log-in on the Google+ signup page. If you don’t have a Gmail account, click on the red “Create an Account” tab in the top right-hand corner of the sign-up page to get started.

Step 2- Create a New Gmail Account
If you already have an active Gmail account and you’ve used it to sign in, proceed to Step 3. However, if you’re creating a new account, you’ll need to follow the signup prompts on the proceeding page.

Step 3 – Verify Your Account
You’ll need to verify your account with your phone number on the proceeding page. This will ensure that you are the true owner of the account should you lose your password and/or need assistance.

Step 4 – Create Public Profile for Google+
Once you’ve confirmed your phone number, you’ll now be able to create your public profile to use on Google+. Add your photo, and then make sure your name, gender, and date of birth are correct.

Step 5 – Invite Contacts
Please note that the next step is completely optional. On the proceeding page, you’ll be prompted to invite your Hotmail and Yahoo! mail contacts to join Google+.

Step 6 – Your Google+ Homepage
You are now a registered Google+ member. Feel free to browse all of the features of homepage. Please note that there are lots of options, so take as much time as you need to get familiar with Google+.
